Hello, It's Manda

I am a freelance digital designer located in the great state of Minnesota.

My Story

My creative journey started at the age of 15, picking up my first DSLR and taking a photography class. I became enchanted with composing a perfect scene, shooting the right angles, and transforming the image in photoshop to align with my visions.

 

This fascination with digital art followed me to St. Thomas, where I studied marketing. I chose to study marketing to provide me a greater knowledge of the business world. I followed a strategic communications track as well, to deepen my understanding of target audiences. 

​

Since finishing my formal education, I have acquired a UX/UI design certification and am working on an Adobe Illustrator certification. I have worked as a marketing intern with Inspire Brands, creating five career websites and designing promotional materials for the talent acquisition department. I then landed my first full-time position with Automation, Inc. managing all aspects of the marketing department. 

My Future

When the pandemic hit, I found myself longing for more connection and creation. I decided to fulfill a long time dream of owning my own business, creating MandaCo, LLC. For now, I am operating as a part-time freelancer on top of my full-time position.

I now seek to find more creative work and build lasting relationships with small businesses. I provide website building, photography, content creation, and social media marketing to clients.

I want to start a new business, can you help me brand it?

Yes! I can help you come up with logo design, color palette, fonts, vision, mission, etc. I also can make you a brand style guide to use in your new company.



What kind of website platform do you use?

I primarily use Wix.com for small and medium-sized businesses due to the packages they provide and the extra additives they have. If there is another platform you prefer (Squarespace, WordPress, Godaddy, Shopify, etc.) I will be more than happy to discuss using it with proper background knowledge. I am always willing to learn new platforms.
